woohooooo!!! weet!!! long time no blog. back for a while.
ever since my last post on daren, think hos performance going downhill cuz he didnt do that well for the finals! but still, i give him my 5 cents worth and voted! haha
he's in and next sunday will be great!!! think im gg nuts over him liao.. nvm.. im not alone! i still my parrot!
well well... besides indulging in Daren virus, my hp really kena virus liao. at first thought my pc is old and usb cannot support the newer version of usb of my hp. but i understated my pc cuz the same problem happened when i tried to copy photos from my hp to laptop. laptop restarted itself too! haiz... need to visit m1 shop liao! wished i could visit m1 for the purpose of buying a new hp but no! wat few more months cuz no $$$ :(
coming to work.. been great manx!! love this job cuz u get all the best combination ever! it can't be better! team is good, with good senior, appreciative and understanding; VTs are nice, chirpy and entertaining. client is fabulous, friendly, warmth and respect auditors. hahaa. Manager is good too - not very pushy and is concerned for the team! weeeeet!!! wished i can stay in this job longer hahaha my february shall b a happy one. still trying to find out my senior's age. hhaaaa
haven been meeting with frenz except for FTB for YM's bday celebration last sat and we had dinner in the same restaurant as RAIN!!! im not a fan of him la but he's just a few steps from us la!!! mega star, u wished you can see mah! all of us (just the FTB gals), tried to visit toilet in hope of peeping into his room but the guard outside the room guarded us.. irritating! haha
returning back to dance class tmr! yea yeah.. already said my senior is very nice le.. allow me to go for class in the midst of peak! BUT mgr coming field review on wed, tho senior is not anxious, i am! mon early release means tues have to churn the files out, means late nite, means client has to stay with us, means we very pai seh to make them stay late cuz they not the stay late kind yet will still accomodate our hours. super duper nice until dunno wat to say!
specs broke and made a new one, meaning financial outlay... haizzzzzzz
nvr broke my specs in entire life lorrrrrr *ahem* someone's fault! boooo!

finally a sat that i am home! getting kinda tired from going out for the past few weekends. it's also time for me to rest over weekend to prepare for war in the coming weeks! not expecting good time in the coming week cuz the deadline is tooooooo tight for the huuuuuuuge amount of work we gotta do! god bless sandra lim, please!
guess 2007 didnt start off too well for me. saving the details. but just dunch feel lucky, lousy instead!

On the first day of 2007 ger frenz celebrated Ad's bday and we had a splashing good time though the dinner was kinda spoilted by the sudden change and hiccup that came with it. Reserved a table @ Jumbo ECP and goodness it was full house (as expected) yet the queues were chaotic! Yesh queueSSS - too many queues and too many impatient customers yelling and rushing for their reservations. some waited for their table for more than an hour. The weather didnt help at all as it started drizzling after a while and many, including us, stood in the rain before a big brolly was mounted at the reservation counter. Reservation system is indeed not very systematic cuz the lady at counter did not give anyone a reservation number such that it is difficult to keep track of which customer came first even though they are reservations. There was no jotting down of customer details and one angry customer questioned the lady if she can remember who is in the queue. The lady replied that all is in her head. I kinda doubt that but come to think of it, ppl who are in this line are trained well to remember details. Perhaps she is right.
While me n Ad wait at Jumbo for our table the rest splitted to other restaurants nearby to try our luck and walaaa... we got a table at Red House!!

Proceeded to Liquid Kitchen @ River Valley and celebrated bday there. played something like 7-up there but this is more challenging. multiples of 3 must be a "fast" and every multiples of 7 is a "ball" so a number which is both a multiple of 3 and 7 is a "fastball". It went on to 150 and our brains were getting slow and not working right especially with the drinks, we were not sober anymore! And i cant post anymore photos anymore cuz they strongly objected to me doing so. Thus, there's only the light of hope to offer.

It is officially the new beginning of 2007!! Happy New Year to all folks!! 2007 a.k.a the year of pig is not supposedly be a good year for the pigs like me and most of my fellows. oh well, who cares, make the best out of all situations and stay strong, happy and loved!!! and everyone do take good care of one's health.
ppl say it's time for resolutions at the start of every new year but i can hardly think of any. perhaps i will wanna resolve certain problems i have with certain ppl but simply put i do not know of a way to go about doing it and escaping seems to be the route im taking now. let nature take its course. im leaving everything to the person and im not taking any initiative. probably the awkward moment will be next month come CNY. oh well, lets see what will erupt then.
lookin back @ 2006 im pretty happy with what i had gone through. I grew with all the ups and downs and straightened alot of thoughts. to summarize:
1. Business trips @ Suzhou, China for close to 2 months (really miss the overseas business trips though they are hectic and crazy but that's how i grow and learn lots more)
2. Toured Korea in September with FTB close gers for holidays.
3. Went Genting, Malaysia with family for some short getaway and test of luck, won and also lost all winnings.
4. Toured Phuket with Dar for anniversary. Im glad it happened :)
5. Tried diving and swimming in open sea (with a life jacket haha) in Phuket
6. Be able to skate on my own though not very zai
7. Friendship with gfs reached another level as we try to make time amongst busy schedule. Now that we are all graduates, it's another stage of life we gotta stand by each other.
8. Generally relationships with most ppl around me grew closer with time. There's more understanding and compromise such that everything can be settled amicably.
9. Signed up for first credit card and yesh i have a new resolution for 2007 - To budget my expenses properly and save more.
10. Met Dar parents after 4yrs together. Glad that all things turned out well and much betta than expected.
11. Changed department after much discussions and dealings with management. It's still a learning process for me currently after the change and im gonna face the first peak in AABS. Not expecting much difference but style of working is definitely different. Met with quite a number of challenges since i switched department and so far still able to resolve them with my might. With the change in environment came more new friends. There are many i really enjoy being with. Yet there are also some in the old dept whom i miss. Some have left the firm and those moments of joy were still very vivid esp those gossipping in the pantry. *oopsss*
12. FTB realizes the pain of not meeting up yet in the midst of it realizes how close we have been. Though there's fewer meetups towards end of 2006, the urge to meet up stays strong. That's when we know we miss each and everyone. Glad that we ended our last 2006 gathering with a big bang!
13. Took up Ballroom Dancing in september and i enjoyed!! Really hoping that can proceed to intermediate class but seems not possible cuz Dar has alot to settle in 1st half of 2007. *fingers crossed*
Resolutions would be:
1. To save more. Now that i have a future to envision and something to look forward in 2008, I have motivation to save and for the sake of future, I will work harder. That will mean i cant spend impulsively and my exploding wardrobesSS (2 to be precise) shall serve as reminders to me cuz i have no more space for new wardrobe. What's more - there is GST hike in 2007 *faint* and paying of income tax for the first time!!!! haizz was checking out tax brackets in the States with Dar and realise Spore tax rate is actually quite low. But there are many other considerations la.. haizzz
2. To be a better human. This is a recurring resolution cuz humans are never perfect which also means that we always have to keep developing ourselves and make ourself a better man.In terms of attitude, behaviour, temper and all aspects of an earthling, ought to control better and bring joy and happiness to folks around me.
All in all, 2006 cant be better without all those ppl who made them possible and im glad i have u guys and gals who are there with me when i needed most. 2006 was smashing and 2007 can only get better!
