Back with my wonderful encounter over the weekend. Past 21 years of Good Friday has never been as enjoyable yet meaningful.

As i have mentioned previously, one of my anticipations for this weekend is Ms Congeniality 2! Great, everything went on as planned. The show revolves around laughter, jokes, Sandra Bullock's snorting, her valuable friendship with Ms USA and World Peace. Highly recommended show! well if you think that all sequels are failures, Ms Cong 2 is definitely gonna prove you wrong! no.. im not receiving any commission for Warner Brothers Entertainment.. haha..

Started a movie marathon in Willie's church after movie at PS. It was a special screening of this show named The Miracle Box, in commemoration of the healthcare workers who have scarificed themselves during the SARs period. The show revolves around two dedicated doctors, one of which called Xie Wan Wen (starred by Cai Shao Fen, an excellent actress, one of my all-time favourites) was one of the heros during SARs. It's partly a love story between Doc Xie and her husband who is also a doctor. Unfortunately, he contracted leukemia and didnt manage to survive the relapses. This is one of the few shows that have REALLIE moved me to tears, not just a few drops, almost a tap le.. or am i too emotional? But the show is too touching - looking at how dedicated both doctors are at achieving their dreams, their passion for the dreams, love for their patients and making a promise to wait for each other at the other end of the rainbow (we always see half of the rainbow on the sky, the other end is in heaven). One of the classic statement made in the show is '戒指是不可以乱买的' (literally it means you cant anyhow buy rings). It attaches a divine significance to rings and it's something that many young people nowadays failed to understand. If they do, why is there escalating divorce rate and abortion rate? Marriage is a lifetime committment, be sure that you are going to spend the rest of your life with one and only partner before spending on the huge investment, not only the cost of the ring but the committment and effort in making the marriage last and work out beautifully for a lifetime. There were many other moving scenes, heard so many people 'having flu' in the sanctuary, not because a flu bug is flying around or the aircon is too cold, but they are moved! On the whole, it has registered deep in my memory. Will go on search for the vcd, the original one.. it doesnt deserved to be pirated. For those who have SCV, do look out for this show in SCV variety vision channel. It was recently shown on the channel and based on SCV's usual practice, it's likely to repeat again.

Since the movie is shown on Good Friday and in a church somemore, it definitely relates to Jesus love and the cruxification of Jesus. Willie shared lotsa insight about Christianity. Primarily because Dar is at this stage of making a choice. I will be happy for him if he ever found where he really belongs and be able to discover the true meaning of life, no matter wad his final decision will be. Frankly speaking, religion matters have been boggling my mind for the past months, close to a year in fact. Have always believe in fate and come what may, not reallie a free thinker if you define them to be people who believe in themselves. I dont believe that i can work wonders but i do think that fate plays a bigger role and that all things happened for a reason, i call this fate and destiny. Willie refer this as God's judgment. Beginning to see where he's driving to. At times, i need some avenues of developing my religious faith and thats when i began to think about having a religion. Im still in the process of searching for the one that suits me most.

Nevertheless, Dar and Willie had a long meaningful chat and Dar is reallie moved by the movie. At least he's regaining the motivation to carry on things that are on top of his list of to-dos now. Thanx Will for the invitation, has made me seen things from slightly different angle. What can i say further about my Good Friday 2005. Filled with love and tears.. But i am indeed happie!


as my title suggest.. yes.. it's my last lesson for BA219 today!! prof has actually decided not to go one with undone seminar qns.. and he proceeded to help us focus on the exam paper.. haah.. tats the comforting part and also at the same time help us ease lotsa revision load.. think we asking too much le.. but he also quite willing to give but there's always a limit to everything right.. a very understanding tutor! lucky to have him as my tutor twice - in first semester for FM and now final semester for Insurance.

then went for Dar's lecture.. had dinner there but as usual my stomach is nvr full.. so it didnt last me long enough.. i had a chocolate muffin after the lecture, which is about 2 hours after i had my fish n chips dinner.. ought to curb my metabolism rate manx.. if there's a way to do so.. haix

came home and plan my exam timetable.. headache manx.. quite much time to prepare for the 3 papers, especially after today's help.. but we must never be complacent .. since it's the final sem le.. we must work the best out of what we can!

quite an eventful dae.. hehe.. caught the pic of a butterfly that i saw in my house but too bad when i found it it was already dead.. but it still looks kinda beautiful.. oh wait is it a moth or a butterfly?? i still cant tell the diff, someone who knows it pls tell me k..

also a lucky day today.. went to help my mum buy 4D and spent $4 to buy 2 scratch tickets. it goes like this.. u scratch and if u see 3 of the same values then u win the stated value. In my case i have 3 $10 so i won $10.. too bad is not $10x3 = $30.. haha.. but just wanna have fun with it so took some chance and i won!! haha.. that $10 is enough for me to pay for my movie ticket in the evening..

watched A Series of Unfortunate Event with thia and mh.. thia said she needed a break this week so we went out for movie.. not too bad a movie plot tho you will sympathize with the 3 siblings and hated Jim carrey for being such an evil character.. then we ate subway after the movie.. and went SHOPPING!! haha.. shopping therapy always work u see!! bought a top.. wooo... hehe.. a new member in my wardrobe!

then my day ended with phone calls one after another.. haha.. my aunt, Dar and other frenz.. too many in a row.. almost no chance to breathe.. haha.. think gonna lie flat tmr le.. class at 930am and im still awake cuz waiting for the Golden Village Booking engine to refresh after maintenance.. need to book for Ms Con 2.. haha.. think i shud slp earlier if not tmr long day will be super duper taxing on moi..


as usual, on a normal tuesday, went for my usual SM shareholders' meeting but for the last time.. sobz cuz kinda enjoy the process of it tho we performed the worst financially but i bet we are the best joker group.. haha.. always filled with laughter and lame jokes all thanx to our lame queen ping and her partner CEO.. lolx.. louise even suggested continuing the game among 5 of us after this simulation has ended.. guess it will be super duper fun cuz we will be building alliances but doubt it can realise ba.. happy moments seldom last!! our final meeting ended in 2hrs plus wowww it's the fastest decision making session we ever had in the 6 weeks as compared to the 2 days that we used to take at the beginning of this game!!! not that we dread with one another but it's the game tat can be quite rigid and dumb at times.. but the people that have made MiraiTech possible are still fun-loving! hahax... then attended second last SM lecture for the semester.. time flies ya.. gonna be the final lecture next wk.. kinda miss lecture time cuz can get to see frenz and of cuz hehe gossip abit here and there..

after lecture, jy, ping, CEO and moi went to St 62 to eat Fei Siong bak chor mee. im hungry la.. need immediate curb to my hunger.. as usual..hehe poor CEO who had torn his ligament has to walk quite tediously though he claimed that 'it's ok it's ok'.. got stranded in the coffee shop cuz it was raining cats and dogs while we were enjoying our tea time.. had some meaningful conversation particularly between jy and CEO.. guess quite enlightening for jy?? hope so ba.. and we left boon lay at 6plus when our lecture ended at ard 3.15pm..ooppzz.. tats something that happen when u have a free day the next day and just feel like slacking.. hee...

later at night, was asked an intersting question: Would you rather be the person building sandcastle in the air or the one staying in the sandcastle that you built in the air? my answer is the former, reason being that i will always want to have hopes and dreams and not to be satisfied with any dream realised, in a way there's always an aim and direction in life and life will not be meaningless then. Of cuz u cant have unrealistic dreams la.. be more practical la.. i was told that, from psychological point of view, people who belong to the latter group are more prone to be escapists and would want to stay in the dreams that they have built for themselves instead of facing the reality. it reallie goes contrary to wad i think ya..

Just when i thought there's nothing i can blog today, willie called and said he has a good news! i wonder wad was that.. in the end he told me today is his last lesson for risk and insurance. WOW.. that's good for him cuz his class has always been on schedule, infact, even faster than schedule so the tutor gave them the lotsa tips for exams. tink prof yee is trying to compensate also ba.. since he decided to set a closed-book exam just because of the minority who refused to buy the textbook and copyright might be infringed when these students bring the printed notes into exam hall.. C'mon lo.. by letting them to continue printing the chapter notes is alrdy an infringement so why protect them now.. but in the end, prof yee has set a supposedly easier exam questions so he expects 30-40% of the cohort will score an A (if it's open-book exam, it will be 20-30% only).. so is that a blessing in disguise?? we shall see if i m one of the recipients of this blessing.. i reallie hope so manx!!
On second thought, prof yee is in a difficult position too.. he is the one who posted all the notes on site and continue to let the students have access to them.. cant reallie blame him for changing format of exam also.. so i shall 不要埋怨, 要接受.. will sound familiar to one person yea.. hahax..

since im blogging le.. might as well update my meaningless day .. did nothing or rather forced to be immobile today, was kinda bedridden from late morning to afternoon so didnt reallie complete much except for finishing the a seminar reading and tutorial questions for risk. guess my momentum is slowly picking up these few days so must seize this oportunity to study harder before i lose the momentum to read again.. anyway exams are round the corner.. dun tink the momentum will drop drastically during this period ba.. hahax..

oh jordan is sick again. He vomitted in the morning and so cant attend school today lo, first day of school reopening wor, poor boi! So stayed at home to help take care of him but who knows i have to take care of myself first.. wad a nua dae.. hahax..

Dar said his test was pretty manageable.. good for him! have been mugging hard for the past few days or rather weeks, hopefully it all get paid off eventually! gambatte!

with the start of a new week, i will have new hopes.. looking forward to the movies plan this week.. gonna watch Jim Carrey's A Series of Unfortunate Events with my gfs and Miss Congeniality 2 this week.. i cant wait for Sandra Bullock's show.. hehe.. even if i have to pay $8.50 this week i will grumble less hehe cuz want to watch this show so much and feels like unwinding..it's a MUST i watch this week!! beginning to be irrational again.. hahaa..

just when i thought i have nothing to say today.. unknowingly it has become such a long post le.. oopss.. :p


have been searching for hotels in Hong Kong for the past few days, trying to find some that can fit into our budget. wonder if willie's fren has any news about the hotel news.. haha.. she'll be a great tour guide for us when we are in HK.. hee..

staying in hostels will be a different experience i guess as long as it's clean (literally and the other meaning if u know.. hehe)

the search will continue..


hmmm.. slept reallie 'early' lst nite at around 3plus in the wee morning.. cant be doing work of cuz hehe was chatting with a good fren..shared alot of things abt my fren's life and touch little bit on bgr.. haha.. tats pretty common for our age i guess.. and it reallie took a long time for me to convince my fren it's time to get a new haircut so that will look fresher .. haha.. not sure if my fren has done so.. reallie treasure this fren of moi... very honest, true and committed to everything he does.. admire for his spirit indeed!!

spent the rest of the morning watching tv at home then headed to Thia's house. Supposedly to let her watch You Are The One which she has missed also so that i can return the tape to my fren on tues. Since she has report to write so i brought my risk text along to study.. after all it's time i get down to books after nearly one whole semester focus on FYP. i reallie completed a chapter on risk!! yea~~ champagne please.. haha.. it's not easy to get cracking with books after long toiling with FYP, just feel like resting after FYP but i cant cuz exams are just 3 weeks from now. to frens who are reading this.. Gambatte k!! we will get through it soon!! anyway.. i spent the entire afternoon in Thia's house haha.. chatting and watching tv.. feels so nice to be able to catch up with fren.. total enjoyment.. hee..

headed on and continue studying but will continue again on sun..

this week has been rather happening for moi!! tues was Dar Dar's belated burdae celebration!! hehee.. so much and fun and laughter and good food over the table!! and ping actually changed into her new wallet which is our present for her ON THE SPOT!! she reallie cant tahan her old wallet le!! hahaah... glad that she likes the present (of cuz.. cuz she requested for one.. hehe)

and how can i forget the most memorable thing i had in my 3 years of NTU life!! went to Guang Liang's campus concert on wednesday evening!! cool... it was hosted by Chong Qing and they clicked well during the concert and created so much laughter for all audience!! yes!! MLT was fully packed that night! Guang Liang has the capability de!! and he sings live reallie well.. powerful voice he has!! wads more memorable is that i get to take photo with him!! all thanx to yanru who gave me the tickets the nite before and tipped me off the place!! hahaaha.. Thanx yan yan!! owe u a lunch ya.. it's the first time i have taken photo with a singer!!! feels good manx!! er.. i took photo with glenn ong before but that was donkey years ago.. and glenn is not a singer.. Guang Liang is more popular ba?? heee.. happiest moment in NTU!!
