wazzzz up manz!!!! life was like a roller coaster almost every week. now that the shitified job is coming to a close soon (keeping my fingers crossed that it better be closed soon!!), the roller coaster has turned into an anger-generator. Oh well... no one can understand how horrified the feeling is and seriously, nothing explosive happened just that tolerance level is reached. anyway... it's time to move on!
something light-hearted yet not so light-hearted:
finally got a new computer. ermm actually got it during comex which is almost a month ago but delivery was delayed plus internet connection was down for the past 1 wk plus i had no time to go fiddle with windows vista and the new computer. Alot needs to be done k... transferring files, download programs that i used to use, doing some personal settings and setting up internet connection was the worst that required 3 different personnel for help and singnet helpdesk is of utter no use! called them up twice to check if the connection is due to incompatible modem (since vista is new) and two different person got me to do the same procedures OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Eventually a technician came down today and adviced that my modem is working. Probably is the connection setting got problem and referred me to call back singnet helpdesk again! So i did as adviced but that "mud" guy has an attitude problem and said i should not be calling them! WTH, your staff told me to refer to you and now u throwing the ball to another person i.e. the modem provider! How many times must i tell u that your technician verified the modem is working properly!?!?! anyway, i got so pissed that i dint want to continue this over-the-phone helpdesk anymore and i called Prolink instead to see if the driver i downloaded is indeed not compatible with vista.
Bagus! Prolink's helpdesk is another good for nothing! no one picks up the phone at 11am! early lunch! in the end i called HP and they are the best!! and i really mean it! patiently the guy gave me step-by-step instructions to test the network connection and eventually gave me the solution to do system recovery. so i rather reinstate the factory settings and went Mac to download driver again. After that, it worked!!! So thankful for HP Helpdesk to give me the ultimate solution when Singnet helpdesk should be able to give the same advice too i guess. But what matters more is the attitude! I feel so much more willing to talk to the patient guy from HP than the helpdesk personnel from Singnet who deserves a poor rating of 4!
Eventually i got my connection, explored my new HP Pavilion 3180d Slimline desktop after a hell long 2months without home comp! still quite satisfied with my purchase despite the delay.

Now my table is so much neater cuz the slimline CPU saves so much space and now with wireless mouse n keyboard i can place them anywhere i like hehehe i have never feel so neat before lor! indeed a neater working environment makes one feels better each day.
Heee like my desktop picture alot! Then i gave my cpu some clothing....
But i tink my camera is protesting. Seems like it is fighting with my new slimline for some attention. My lens is not working properly le!! shitified!!! must i really spend money on new gadget?!?!!?
