Finally got time to visit my blog. Been ages since I last return home at this hour on a normal working weekday, enjoying the comfort of lazing in my room. Work had piled over the weeks and the bell curve is nearing the bottom bell. Cant wait for june for reason #1, this shit job is ending and reason #2 im going on leave!! I must say this job is shit cuz of the client and the company’s messy operation and not the team. On the contrary team had been great though I see many people come and go over the past 3 months. Late hours are inevitable. Kinda used to it anyway.
Work aside. Been visiting the gym regularly, usually on weekends and also procrastinated on doing work over weekend cuz gotta clear other jobs mah. Hahaa.. but what will come, must happen. Perhaps its time to clear them all this weekend.. haizzz.. didn’t I say work aside.. hahaha I digress….
Okok what else ah.. OH!!! Finally booked Bangkok and Chiang Mai tickets!!! Going with mae and parrot. And talking about the tickets I am so dame pissed at myself. Booked 1-way trip to Bangkok via jetstar and wanted to fly back from Chiang Mai but jetstar doesn’t fly back from Chiang Mai. So the plan was to take train to Chiang Mai, stay for 3D2N and return Spore from Chiang Mai. In the end, it somehow cost about the same (about S$40 plus more ex) to fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and then return Spore from Bangkok. The alternative plan is to take train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok if really want to save money but that’s way toooo time consuming as the journey is overnight for about 15hours. So transiting at Bangkok sounds better and we can cut short one day’s trip, so the cost will somehow be the same. BUT, while booking the return ticket from Bangkok, I mistakenly booked the wrong date!!!!!!! I went to book 23rd May 2007!!!!! WTH!!! Dame dame pissed off by me, myself and I when I found out. Thinking that I found out immediately, I may get to change at no extra charge but I over-estimated jetstar’s customer service!!!! They rejected me and I paid about holy 75 bucks more to change tickets for 2 people!!!! End up very upset on a Sunday night. Not that I am stingy with the extra charge but why did I make such a stupid mistake!!!?!?!? Grrrrrr call me stupid, call me blur, call me sotong, call me muddlehead, I still have to fork out tat holy 75 bucks for the ridiculous mistake I made!!!! Someone please kill me!!!! Trying to work out cost savings for air tickets yet end up paying more! Lesson learnt – Never try to be too calculative! I just want to save money if possible mah! OKAY, credit card has transacted, cant say much anymore! Just to let you have a good laugh!
Anyway!! I am still looking forward to the trip cuz I want my deserved break! Quite a number of good news lately. Bonus is creeping into pockets early and hopefully it will be within expectation. And jess helped me to buy Goong bear! YEAH!!! That’s Alfred!! Wanted to get the Alfred’ girlfriend too but that’s ungodly 400 plus Sing dollars! I gave up! Alfred already cost me 50 ish lor… it’s the first time I’m buying bear for myself! Haha cuz someone never expressed intention to buy me soooooo I will fork out own money to buy myself a bear and join HIS bear on the bear… Heeee Thanks jess! Must have been troublesome for u to carry the box around. I was so excited while talking to her and can’t wait to see the bear! Looks like I can only welcome my bear next week already cuz this weekend abit tight on work. It’s still a motivation nevertheless.
Oh and will be watching Pirates for free on 29th kekeke courtesy of EY. Still not too bad to be in EY laaah. Dance class has resumed and quickstep is so fun! We missed the first lesson of Quickstep yet managed to pick up in 15min with good guidance from fellow classmates who are at least 4 years younger than us! Hahahaha. Enjoying dance more and more. As and when got free time will revise the footwork in my mind. Mad Sandra is back! Will be spending quite a sum for a dance competition in August. Really hope to attend. Ehhh we not participating but watching the competition. Haahaaa
OH Phantom of the Opera was great, fantastic, brilliant and abolutely nicely done! I like the setup especially those around the stage, the songs and the dynamic stage props. Watching an evening show indeeds feels different tho it's still the same darkness once you are inside the theatre. But feels more arty-farty watching at night haaha (ok this doesnt really sound very arty farty) anyway given a chance will want to watch in Broadway. Any other famous musical in Broadway will be good. Im waiting for Miss Saigon though.
Okokok too long a post already. Resolution for the coming 2 months… spend less, eat grass and enjoy life! Simplicity is bliss!
