been the 2nd consecutive weekend im out thru'out n my room is only a hotel to me.
sat was out with miao n ad. had tea at Royal Copahagen, eating scones, honey dates pudding is nice tho ad said australia is nicer! welll... shall wait till the time to visti aussie! that's like pre-dinner starters haha cuz we had a movie at 7 so just grabbed some bites before the show. den headed to MS for The Prestige! woohooo... intelligent show that sets people thinking abt the plot n how things evolve. not that the story nvr tell but it's subtle and sets ppl thinking abt the possibilities... overall good show! then ad picked us up (she didnt join the movie). woohooo!! convertible!!! cool.. love the red leather seats!!! HOTTTTTTiEEEEE nice car with potential yet to b fully developed. so happy for her! :)
supper time and we headed to Mr. Bean at Prinsep place. not those beancurd dao huey. and the service SUXXXXXXXX big time!!!! yet they charges 10% svc charge... yet there are customers 24hrs.. simply cuz sporeans are limited by night activities places and hence they zhuan dao lo! besides the chicken chop everything was so so only. Prawn aglio e olio smells sour at first and penne wasnt too well done. mussels were ok... gravy was just alrite taste, nothing fantastic abt it.
then came a bomb!!! nearly fainted by the japanese visit! it was miao's colleague and he rattled on and on the moment he sat down, he couldnt stop talking for 5 seconds which means he is talking most of the time in fact the entire night for close to 1.5hrs?! he dropped by cuz he lived nearby! and it was indeed so near that we can hardly stopped him from visiting! well.. he is entertaining afterall, puasa became pussy.. LOL his accent in english made me kinda hard of hearing. half way thru he lost me.. so sorry abt tat. den came the "ginseng" who is oso miao's colleague his features are prettier than a ger's and his double eyelid is so deep and even that one could hardly miss it. ah beng look with some sylvester sim resemblance haha... at first i tot he is a malay until i recalled his chinese name tat sounds like ginseng.. ooopsss
whilst the jap guy rattles on n on, a proposal was going on behind his back! hahaha.. no la.. not his gf being snatched away but another couple behind our table. guessed it's the ger's bday and the guy kneeled down with limited space (cuz the jap guy took up kinda big space haha) and proposed! i saw it! nothing fantastic cuz no flowers but there was ring.. 3 somemore! my guess is that he anyhow whacked 3 different sizes hoping that one of them bingo! well... it wasnt exactly a wise choice to propose at Mr. Bean lor!! with the noisy, crowded, limited space environment, no ambience. But then that could b a memorable place for them. Well, they are getting married eventually, so a happy occassion for them, tho i dunno them haha
and the jap guy still rattled on n on n on... until abt 12-ish and a chance for us to interrupt and say "we are going home"! phew.... if not we can nvr get out of the 24hr cafe lor! the truth is we didnt go home but to Jewel Box. hehehe hor-lan along the way with open-top convertible.. cool! but i was so stressed that i dint enjoy cuz im supposed to guide... but thank goodness the hor-lan was a short one and managed to salvage hee
Visited The Altivo Bar to drink. kinda hot there cuz not windy last night. not too bad for xmas dinner there! haha.. think i might visit there for xmas! heeee
thanks to shan who sacrificed sleep to guide ad. thoughtful n sweet bf. only managed to sleep at 4-ish and woke up at 10-ish to go vivo shop! see my room is a hotel room!
satisfied today tho feeling tired cuz i bought 3 pairs of shoeS!!!! heeee.. kinda ridiculous but i hardly find shoes that i like and can fit especially black shoes that dunch look ah ma-ish on my feet. so i would rather be labelled horrid spender than to miss the buys. i dunch always do that btw! tired now.. weekend is over n back to job tmr and a rather shit one not expecting to knock off early this week unlike the past 2 weeks!!!
slight problem with my toopid camera cuz photos i took were stored in the camera n not the memory card n i cant open the cover of the usb port in e camera, now i cant transfer photos. Dr. Loke, u must help me with this! only u know how to :)
