K.. time to recollect the people I have met during my uni days. Time flies manx, it’s been almost 3 years since I started the exciting journey.

Only know Miao, my long time pal since Sec 2! Really fated to be in the same course and both of us went through the beginning blur period of U together. There’s a companion too! And she’s my roomie for about 3 months.. haa.. cuz both of us miss home too much and we talked to much and ended up not studying during the weekdays when we are in hall and gotta carry loads of books home during weekend to do tutorial. Partly to blame is our fully-equipped room – fridge, tv, radio and loads of food!! How can anyone resist a room like this – so comfy! We did not have to get a toaster or microwave cuz the pantry is just next to our room!! Haha.. strategic location!! Indeed really miss the days when we stayed together, bathe together (as in at the same time but in different cubicles of cuz!), gossip in the bathrooms using nicks to keep secrets so that other people wouldn’t know who we were talking about. But a pity that our self-discipline is too bad and gotta home sweet home!

Well.. then came the lesson and tutorials proper. The first day of tutorial starts of with Organizational Behaviour (OB). That’s a joke manx! Being freshmen, reallie fresh to the max, couldn’t read the tutorial room number. In the end most of my classmates and me went to the wrong tutorial room. It’s supposed to be in the South spine but we went to the north spine instead. All the lost sheep gathered in the wrong room and only found out when no tutor walks in by 845am when the class was supposed to start at 830. Then some kind soul told us that we were in the wrong room. In the midst of waiting, we began to make friends with each other. Think it’s the most effective way of breaking the ice, without the help of an external force! Haha.. met Shui Yun, Hui Qin and can’t really remember the rest of the lost sheep. But that was fun and when tutor wanted us to intro us to one another, we became the closest strangers. Haha.. memorable indeed. But eventually I didn’t stick to this class cuz it starts at ungodly 830am so early though I stayed in hall, it’s still too early for a Monday morning. So I changed to Tuesday 1030 class and left the class. Hee.. but still managed to see many familiar faces in other modules. And most of these people are the ones who stayed with me for the rest of my uni life. Li Ping, Yixiang, Sai Him, Jiayi, Yi Qin and Winnie are among the closest ones. Yixiang is the ultimate! Haha.. so fated to do projects with him throughout these 3 years. At least 4 I think.. But I must admit he’s a motivated team mate and very co-operative, and of cuz he’s smart! And very helpful. And when he is attached, keeps mentioning his beloved gf.. haha.. and he became our jie mei (sister) wor.. Cliqued so well with us and we can talk about so many topics under the sun, including the sensitive ones… haha!!

Then came Yiqin. A pity that she gotta change her arrangement of modules for the rest of her uni life bcuz of her appendicitis operation in the midst of exam. She has been a great fren!! So nice, sweet, kind and helpful!! Can confide in her any time any place. A great listener! But due to different modules arrangement, we couldn’t really catch up with each other as often anymore. But she’s still a fren worth keeping!! Winnie, Yiqin and me always hang out together in school. But dear Winnie decided to give up on accountancy and went on to pursue law. Happy for her cuz law is where her potential can be appreciated! So knowledgeable and well-informed and smart! Though short, we spent so much memorable time together. Those were the days manx! Always so kind of Winnie to offer free rides to and from school.. hee..Winnie, Liping and me will always gossip, laugh loudly and scolded all the lousy drivers in her little green car.. haaa.. miss them so much!

Then came Liping!!! Got closer with her only in Year 1 Sem 2. Since then, we became even closer till now! From an innocent girl to a lame queen.. great transformation indeed. Sweet, hardworking, very bf-oriented and has a good voice. These are good virtues of her, definitely! But she also very gullible and emotional hee.. Has been a very co-operative team mate too.. worked on numerous projects with her over the past 2 years and our chemistry just gets better and better. And she became more and more lame lo.. and she claimed that it’s because of her sisters’ influence.. haa.. indeed I believe it!! Despite the lameness, her jokes definitely brought some life and lighten up the study mood. And can tell her secrets too!! Thanx for being encouraging when I need them!!
Liping brought Louise into our clique too!! A very witty Louise, always study in the last minute, kudos to her attitude towards studies manx! Very good at powerpoint deco.. it’s always great job done with her deco! Thanx for all ya contribution!

Oh Jiayi!! Really get to know her so much better in Year 3! When we began to take train to and from school together and crap so much! This gal ah.. very mean with her words, ok she is straight forward and honest and to the point. But her words are really mean when she scolded her enemies.. haha.. like YF lo.. who made her blood boil to 1000 degree Celsius after each FYP meeting and we gotta try to appease her after her meeting.. but her mood changes quite fast de.. one moment mad, one moment happy.. something I really admire. It’s not easy, at least for me, cuz I will dwell on the past.. Though she’s mean, she’s really nice at times too!! Telling us to sms her when we reach home is good enough. C’mon where to find girls who are so meticulous with each others business nowadays. Eldest among us but act like little girl at times haha.. very fun to tease! There were some unhappy moments during project discussions but everything resumed to normal the next day. Wonder how she can do tat.. but I still admire her courage! Liping, Jiayi and Me are the gossipers manx! San Ba Club is officially launched with these 3 managing directors! Not something to be proud of but that’s what brought us closer I must admit! But we have our ethics also – never twist the facts and only confirm the rumors after attestation. Afterall we are future auditors wad, must adhere to code of ethics ma! *crap* haa…

How can I forget my FYP mates!!! Cedric and Vin!!! So farnie duo!! And very gossipy especially Cedric who always have the juiciest news about NBS students. A smart guy manx!! And a man of wise words.. haha.. sometimes la.. We went through the tedious FYP days together, had so much fun despite having to catch the last train home almost every night when the deadline was nearing. Remember there was once when we missed the last train from Boon Lay and gotta take cab home. Me and Vin shared the same cab cuz we stayed in the north and poor Cedric has to bear the full cost of cab fare plus midnight charge. Vin, so gentleman of him to instruct the cab driver to take the specific routes, sort of warning the driver not to take any quiet routes and even reminded me not to fall asleep just in case the driver drove me to some quiet places. So sweet of him to do that! Shuhui is a fortunate girl! Hee.. In the end the cab driver turned out to be a nice uncle. He chatted with me throughout the journey so that I wouldn’t fall asleep and even offered to wait for me to get to my house void deck before he drove off cuz it was very late at night already and he’s concerned about my safety. To think that Vin and I gave him a different judgment in the beginning.. hee.. Always remember the times when we were trying to help Cedric solve his problem with his gf.. conversations were always so funny and each time I learnt new things, new news and new gossip.. hehe

Then there are some other frenz like Sai Him.. woo.. smart guy!! Very hardworking and can always tune to the same frequency as the tutors. Not a single tutor failed to notice him! Then there’s Wenwei! The doctor-in-charge of my computer. An IT wizard!! Had operated on my computer twice and really grateful to him! Still remember he shoot Prof during AA212 class on the first day of tutorial and shocked everyone! Never will I think that he will one day be our friend and even did FYP with Liping and Louise. Upon knowing him more, he’s really not a nasty guy. Instead, he’s very helpful and thoughtful!
