Out of boredom im back to blog after quite a long break.. have been very tied down by exam for the past few weeks and it got so intensive last weekend cuz I had a paper on fri and another one on the following mon.. finally they are over.. I have mentioned about the blunders I made for Friday paper and shall not swell on the unhappy things.. at least mon 18th April was a happy day though I had a paper in the morning.. it was Thia’s and Yixiang’s birthdays!! That evening was great manx!! Went for good food.. ok gotta discount for the food we had at Centre Stage in Marina Square.. well the food didn’t taste that bad but the serving is really miser. It is in fact a new concept restaurant in Marina Square whereby u have 5 restaurants (think there’s 5, if not 6) restaurants of differing taste and style. There’s Thai, Indonesian, Japanese, Italian and Chinese restaurants and a centre area where u can order food from all the restaurants. So it’s like u can taste all the food there but that’s not what we got. Instead we were given a menu to choose from a list of dishes available from each restaurant. The list wasn’t very long and all the dishes are more of finger food, if not food that are not filling (at least for the 5 of us who are big eaters). All of us were surprised by the serving of each dish but the taste of the food could somehow compensate for the serving. And it’s almost $90 for that dinner, not exactly very worthwhile for the servings. Lesson learnt: Never believe the tv programs that recommend these so-called nice places to eat. As I learnt about this place from a tv show, I had my lesson learnt manx!
Proceeded to Fullerton One to have dessert at Bakers’ Inn!! Yea.. haven’t been there for a long time… miss the cakes and desserts there!! Had my filling that nite too.. haha.. we got a piece of cake for Thia and 2 other desserts!! Sumptuous manx!! Simply deeeleecious!! Haha… took a lot of photos that nite too.. 5 of us haven’t really had many decent photos all these years… goodness upon counting it’s 8 years!! Time to make up for all the losses.. will post it soon.. I promise!!
Tuesday was spent in NUS Biz Lib with Dar, Greg and Daniel. What a conducive place to study – very quiet and comfortable. A pity that I realize it only now, won’t have much chance to study there anymore. But too all my NUS frenz who will have some years ahead, do frequent the Biz Lib if u wanna a quiet place to study k!
Rest of the week was spent studying Risk.. damn!! So much to study and memorize. Cant’t remember what I have read earlier in the week. The next few days gonna be a speedy refresher course! Hang on for a few more days and I’ll be free!!
